Global2033 – New evangelization in the spirit  of Evangelii gaudium.

This initiative was taken in 2019 by Henry Capello and is run by a consortium of Christian leaders who want to catalyze a global project to inspire as many Catholics as possible to become active communicators of the Gospel in the spirit of Pope Francis' apostolic exhortation Evangelii gaudium for a ten-year period until 2033 with the goal of reaching the entire world's population. If at least 10% of Catholics could become active evangelizers, it would have a powerful effect. 2033 is the 2000th anniversary of what is the foundation of the church's faith: the death of the Lord, the resurrection, the ascension and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit [read more here].

 

The republication of Lillemor Hallin's books continues

Recently, the third in the series, Healing in Christ, was published, Hallin's appreciated book that is not only about prayer for healing, but about the fact that the church and the Christian congregation are called to be the world's most healing environment. It is fully in line with Pope Francis' statement that the Church should be like a field hospital in the world, not a castle with high walls. At the same time, the book gives a good insight into how the charismatic gift work and is highly recommended both for those who are familiar with them and want to grow and develop in them, as well as for bishops, priests, pastors, catechists and other leaders within the churches who want to immerse themselves in the charismatic dimension of the church and its importance for the new evangelization. Good as reading literature for e.g. Life in the Spirit seminars or Alpha courses.  [The books can be ordered from CHARIS Nordic's website, e-shop] and are also available as e-books. Happening in the Stockholm region:
